Bella Weems is certainly a person to admire. She is an accomplished young woman, and she's only 17 years old. She started her own business, with only help in financing from her parents, at the young age of 14. Today, this business is extremely successful, and continues to expand beyond what anyone could imagine. The company generated $280,000 in revenue in 2011 and $24 million in 2012. It is expected to bring in $250 million in 2013. They have approximately 51,000 designers, independent associates, who host private parties at a hostess' house. Bella sets goals and works hard to achieve them. She is ambitious and determined. Bella is full of perseverance. When people doubted her because of her age, she just kept trying. When she hits rough patches, she doesn't give up.
Bella successfully manages school, extracurricular activities, and Origami Owl. During the school year she spends at least three hours a day at Origami Owl Headquarters, and during the summer, interns for two months in each division of the company, learning about each part. Bella also inspires women of all ages to make their fantasies a reality. Finally, Bella accomplished her initial task of buying a car for her 16th birthday. She is now the proud owner of a white jeep named Alice, shown above.

Bella also has many plans set for her future. Bella wishes to launch the O2 Foundation sometime in the near future. “The foundation will have a focus on single mothers with teens, with scholarship opportunities based on leadership and entrepreneurship” (Directsellingnews.org). Bella wants to go to college for a business degree before she officially takes over Origami Owl. Bella also has a dream of becoming a motivational and inspirational speaker.
I admire Bella because she is the perfect example that if you believe in something, and work for it, you can achieve it. She had a dream of buying a car, and within a year had more than enough money to purchase one. Her company is very successful, but Bella doesn't allow that to get to her head. She is still down-to-earth, thinking and working for the greater good and inspiring women. She knows that things don't just get handed to her, and that lots of hard work goes into success. Bella interns and works hard for the company to make it better. She has ambitious plans for the future, including the O2 Foundation, which will help single mother with teens. She is also wise in earning a business degree before she officially takes over and CEO. I admire Bella Weems because she is a smart, successful teen who's dream is to help people achieve their dreams.
