Term 2
iPhone Wallpapers
Recently I've been making my own wallpapers for my iPhone 4. I searched the dimensions that the wallpaper needed to be to fit correctly. It is 960 x 640 pixels. The first wallpaper is from a Hunter Hayes concert I went to, and had the opportunity to meet his openers, Dan + Shay. They are my favorite band. To make this wallpaper I cropped the picture, added a background color, and edited the Dan + Shay logo to fit into the wallpaper. I am very pleased with the result.
The second wallpaper is a collage of pictures I took while on a marching band weekend trip to National Championships and Nesba Finals. This collage was easier because I just had to resize the images and make them fit into the size of the wallpaper. I am also very pleased with this wallpaper.
The third wallpaper is a new one I made with some of my favorite pictures that I've taken in the past few months. I recently got an iPhone 5, which has different dimensions for the screen. the iPhone 5 dimensions are 1136 x 640. I am now finding these collages to be really easy because I can visualize where the pictures are going, and how many will fit in the wallpaper.

Raidopoly
The advanced graphics class is making a monopoly board, and I was given the job of creating the logo. It had to have our principal, and two vice principals. The center is Ski, our principal, then left of him is Ms. Brelsford, and on the right is Ms. DeCouto. I took three separate images of the administration, and traced their features to recreate them on the computer. The hardest part of this project was trying to find pictures that were usable, and could be enlarged and still be readable. I then took the three separate forms, and merged them together to form one image. The last part was the term "Raidopoly", the name of the game. I found a font that I liked, and made it white to stand out against the three coloreds shirts. I then used Photoshop to add affects to the text. I used the effects of bevel and emboss, outer glow, and drop shadow. Overall, I am pleased with this logo.
Blood Drive Poster
This is a poster announcing Peer Leadership's Annual American Red Cross Blood Drive. It is currently being displayed in the Peer Leadership display case outside the graphics area. The blood drive will take place on March 2, 2015 this year.
MIAA You Lead Conference
As president of Peer Leadership, I was given the opportunity to go to the MIAA You Lead Conference in Milford, Mass. This took place on Friday, December 19, 2014. This poster presents some of the pictures that were taken by our advisers, Mr. Adams and Ms. Copeland, at the conference. Most of them show us making a poster that is seen in the display case at our school. The other picture is of two members presenting the poster we made.
Peer Leadership Display Case
This is the Peer Leadership display case at our school. I have made most of what is in it, and have organized it all. We have the poster we made at the MIAA You Lead Conference displayed, along with the poster that has the pictures from it. Fun fact: I drew the logo on the poster! Also shown, is the American Red Cross Blood Drive poster, advertising the upcoming event. This case will change periodically throughout the year as the Peer Leadership hosts, and takes part in different events.
Student of the Month
This is a poster Mr. Adams asked me to make for the January Student of the Month, Cam Filipe. It will be displayed in one of the display cases outside the graphics room.
Gone Book Jacket
This is a book jacket I made for English class. We've spent the last month or so creating stories and then we were assigned a visual project. It could basically be anything you wanted, but there were some suggestions. One of them was a book cover. I expanded it to the whole jacket. To make this, I spent almost an entire class period figuring out dimensions that would fit. Then, I searched forever to find the right picture then played with it in Photoshop to fit my book more. I then searched for a second forever to find a font I liked. The summary/blurb on the inside cover is taken from the first part of my story, and then I wrote a bit about myself for the 'about the author'. I know it looks formatted weird, but when it all gets folded it will look exactly like a book jacket. I'm debating formatting my story so it could fit inside the book too, but that sounds a bit confusing considering the dimensions aren't typical. It is also not required, so technically there is no need to
